Starting in 2022, this will be the first animation summer workshop to bring animation to our local grade schools like never before in Phoenix, AZ. All online from the comfort of your home. With great instructors with many years of experience in their field designed for kids 6-12 grade. We are excited to make a difference in the local animation community and really give inspiring young animators a chance to be creative, dream big, and be a part of something fun & cool!
Students can choose from the various courses for the 3D Animation Summer workshops. Let's bring their creativity to life.
Animation Summer Workshop with RJ Animation provides students with a fun and creative experience. They'll learn the fundamentals of 3D animation, a basic understanding of 3D Modeling, basic digital painting, and more.
All Online students will work with industry-standard software to create their own 3D models, short animations and develop important skill sets. They will be ready to create original artwork by learning each step of a creative process and animation pipeline by understanding the fundamental skills of Pre-production, Production & Post-Production.
RJ Animation has professional artists & animators still working in their field to engage with all online students and also inspire them long after they leave. We'll do our best to bring their creative and original ideas to life.
For over 20yrs Ricardo (Richie) has been working in the Animation / 3D industry for several companies throughout Phoenix, AZ, and out of state as a stand-alone micro-studio (RJ Animation). His work contains projects such as 4K/IMAX TV series
“Space Unraveling the Cosmos”, featured on Discovery Channel and Netflix. Animation projects for companies like Avnet Technology Solutions,
Frito-Lay N. America, Food-net exchange, and several others as a
Richie has been teaching as an Instructor at Grand Canyon University "GCU" for
9yrs & Huntington University for 3yrs, teaching in the Art Design / Animation programs. He also previously taught at the Art Institute of phoenix before they permanently closed.
