Animation Workshops

 

RJ Animation offers an exciting Animation Workshop for students in grades 6-12 and beyond. Participants will receive a hands-on introduction to 3D/2D animation, as well as an understanding of basic 3D modeling and digital painting techniques. With a focus on creativity and enjoyment, students will have a fun and enriching experience while learning new skills.

Online students will gain hands-on experience with industry standard software to create 3D models, short animations, and develop relevant skills. The program will cover the creative process and animation pipeline, providing a comprehensive understanding of fundamental skills. By the end of the course, students will have the ability to create original artwork and have a good understanding for each production stage.

3D Animation 1

In this course, students are introduced to basic 3D animation techniques (Principles of 3D Animation).

3D Animation 2

​

Students are introduced to more advanced 3D animation techniques. They will also be given an introduction to character animation.

3D Modeling 1

​

Student will apply basic design principles to the solution of visual problems using elements of 3D design. 

3D Modeling 2

​

This course is an introduction to timeline-based compositing for both creative and technical processes

Motion Graphics

​

This course is an introduction to timeline-based compositing for both creative and technical processes

Digital Painting

​

This course is designed to expand your knowledge of drawing and painting using Photoshop from an Animation perspective.

2D Animation 1

​

In this course, students are introduced to basic 2D animation techniques (Principles of 2D Animation).

In this course, students are expanding more in 2D animation techniques. Topics to be covered are a overview of the previous workshop and more complex animation techniques
